Maison François’ CroûteOff is back! The modern-day French brasserie will once again host the annual competition which invites some of the industry’s most exciting and impressive chefs to create their own unique take on the restaurant’s signature dish ‘pâte en croûte’.

Marking the pinnacle of a week of Beaujolais Nouveau celebrations, the competition will take place in Frank’s, the restaurant’s subterranean Bar a Vins. Competing with their own take on the French appetiser, will be top UK restaurants and their chefs such as Chez Bruce, Cadet, Cafe Cecilia, Tillingham, Margot Henderson, Ben Tish and Chantelle Nicholson judged blind by Matt Tebut, Fay Maschler MBE, Tom Parker-Bowles and Ravneet Gill. The lucky winner of this year’s competition will be awarded the sought-after Croûte Off cup, as well as a case of wine, and the highly coveted Maison François x Novel Mart merch.

Following the grand event, competitors, judges and guests will be invited to head upstairs to Maison François to enjoy further celebrations of Beaujolais Nouveau, with Head of Wine Daniel Illsley cracking open a cask (or two) and Head Chef Matthew Ryle’s Bouchon Lyonnais feasting menu.
