What: Theo Randall celebrates the revered truffle with new limited-edition menu
The Lowdown: Italian truffles are known as the greatest culinary delicacies in all of Italy, with the ancient Romans believing truffle was created when lighting struck damp earth as a gift from god, proving it worthy of a dedicated menu. Theo Randall uses the most premium white truffles from Umbria, which is the region at the heart of Italy’s truffle festivals. The restaurant’s trusted supplier truffle importer is Alfredo Romani, a specialist in Italian truffles and delicacies, and has been supplying white and black truffles to Theo Randall for years.
The decadent dishes on the truffle menu include Carne Cruda which is a Tartare of beef fillet with rocket salad, Parmigiano Reggiano and white truffles from Umbria, to Taglierini con burro – Fresh taglierini pasta with butter and Umbrian white truffles. This special limited-edition menu has been created to pair exquisitely with white truffles unique aroma and flavour and with truffle season coming up, there is no better time for truffle lovers to indulge.

What: A ‘Mince Pie’d’ Cocktail. Ingredients – Grey Goose Vodka, mince pie infusion and top of prosecco. The infusion is made with Apple, cloves, orange, honey and cinnamon.
The Lowdown: this clever cocktail packs a punch with all the classic flavours of spiced, fruity mincemeat into a perfect Christmas party cocktail. Housed in an actual mince pie, this kitschy cocktail is designed to be the ultimate cocktail to toast to festivities with friends! Head down to London’s coolest kebab shop, Maison Bab to try this mince pie topped cocktail yourself!

What: Radio Alice, the Bologna-born pizzeria are giving pizza-lovers the chance to win a lifetime supply of their organic pizzas throughout this festive season, proving that pizza is for life, not just for Christmas!
The Lowdown: Radio Alice will also be serving their festive set menus, including grissini and a fonduta of nutty taleggio and gorgonzola, followed by a Christmas Pizza, made with organic flour and risen for 24 hours, topped with Brussel sprouts, pancetta, taleggio, creamy fiordilatte mozzarella, red wine reduction and orange zest. To finish, there’s Matteo’s take on the much-loved British classic, sticky toffee pudding, or Radio Alice’s sweet pizza topped with lemon curd and fresh basil, plus a sip of limoncello for each guest.
