5 Must-Try Dishes at Camden Beer HallBy Alicia Grimshaw
Fresh beer and fresh food – it’s the perfect combo, right? Camden Town Brewery have been cooking up a storm in preparation for their all-new Beer Hall opening next month, and they’ve been working on something pretty special.
They’ve teamed up with iconic British chef, Theo Randall, to create a delicious menu – think classic Italian dishes fused with traditional beer hall cuisine, all paired perfectly with Camden Town’s fresh, never pasteurised beers for the ultimate food and drink experience.
The beer menu boasts 24 taps for you to choose from, including the much-loved Camden core beers, as well as a selection of limited-edition specials.
The star of the show (other than their beers, of course) is the Slice Bar: a pizza bar with a Camden twist. Using rosemary and sea salt infused focaccia for the bases – you can expect toppings of grilled aubergine, datterini tomato, porchetta, roasted fennel and so much more to tantalise the tastebuds. And it’s not just pizzas you can expect, as we’ve pulled together our top 5 picks from the menu that you *must* try:
Bavarian-style freshly baked pretzels
Beer Hall sharing platter: Roasted vegetables, mixed olives, fennel salami, prosciutto di Parma, bresaola and pecorino – with pretzels or focaccia on the side
Rich burrata cheese with roasted asparagus, burnt butter, toasted breadcrumbs, sage and parmesan
Vegetable fritto misto (to share!)
Amalfi lemon tart
