Stay Here: The Nadler, VictoriaBy Angelica Malin
Central London can be hectic at the best of times, but does it need to be? The new Nadler Hotel in Victoria is living proof that London has its moment of quiet, and the boutique, quiet hotel, just moments from some of London’s best attractions, shows you that peace is possible – and on a budget, too. If you’re looking for a fantastic London staycation, or somewhere to stay during a break in the big smoke, then here’s what you need to know about The Nadler:
A boutique hotel on the doorstep of Buckingham Palace? We like the sound of that. Just moments away from St. James Theatre, and, indeed, the royals themselves, sits proud The Nadler Victoria. A newly opened hotel, the hotel gives you incredible access to London’s landmarks in minutes – as well as some fantastic culture. Victoria’s seriously on the up – there’s new restaurants, bars and pubs, such as the great new M Victoria Street, which is seriously one of the best sushi restaurant I’ve ever tried in London. In 2016, Victoria will become host to a Jamie Oliver restaurant, Jason Atherton and Will Ricker, so we reckon this is going to be a big hotspot of the year. At the moment, the hotel offers breakfast for guests at the adjacent St. James’ Theatre, so you won’t go hungry, either.
The Nadler Hotels are all about easy, accessible luxury – the rooms are small but perfectly formed, with the best tech around. In each room, you can expect free WiFi, mini kitchen fitted into the walls, large LED TVs and the comfiest beds. They aren’t exactly rooms for chilling in, but are designed for the traveller who wants to see the best of the city in a short space of time – they basically have amenity you need for the perfect weekend break, and are compact, too.
The accommodation is designed for luxury and comfort. In each bedroom, you can enjoy a mini kitchen with The Nadler’s own tea blend, as well as coffee machines. The Small Double is great value for money; it sleeps two adults, and includes a large TV, GHD hairdryer and a seriously comfy bed. The largest room is the Deluxe Room, which can sleep four people, if needed. The beautiful room features a 48″ TV, lovely bathrobes and slippers, a music library on the TV and additional tech for a working holiday, such as free WiFi, USB charger, work desk with power points and HDMI cable for streaming your favourite films in the room. With all that, you’ll be challenged to leave the hotel.
The Nadler Victoria is a welcome addition to Victoria’s bustling night life. Small and convenient, the hotel is the perfect place for a mini break in the centre of town – a great hotel for coming and going as you please, only moments from the best bits of London. If you’re looking for a new Central London hotel, we can’t recommend it enough.
