Do you have what it takes to be London’s ultimate crazy golf champion? Never a question we’ve ever thought we’d ask, but hey, who doesn’t love a spot of crazy golf? That’s a rhetorical question. You should all like crazy golf.
Swingers City and Swingers West End are looking for suitable candidates (beginners and superstars of indoor golf), for Swingers Open, London’s only crazy golf tournament.
Swingers Open: The Run-Down
Following the success of the inaugural tournament in 2017, Swingers have once again partnered with Tanqueray No.TEN, to give teams of pals/work office friends/loved ones the chance to sip on a G&T (anything to settle the pre-golf nerves) before battling it out on the course for the title of London’s crazy golf champions.
Swingers Open: The Competition
This year the tournament heats will be held at both Swingers City and the newly opened Swingers West End, giving competitors a chance to choose which course and therefore which set of jumps, loops and moving obstacles to take on to hopefully clinch a winning score and go through to the semi-finals. Each tournament heat is set up EXACTLY like a professional golf competition. There’ll be competition branding throughout the courses and a caddie on every single hole to count each player’s score.
For the winners of the grand final, the spoils of victory: a trip for four to New York, complete with flights and 2 nights stay at the brand new Hoxton Hotel in Brooklyn.
If that isn’t enough, the victors of the Swingers Open will also receive the coveted Swingers Open trophy and the right to wear the legendary Swingers green jackets made by celebrated tailor Gresham Blake. They’ll also be immortalised on the Swingers wall of fame, and the winners of each weekly heat will receive a luxury Tanqueray No.TEN hamper.
Swingers Open: Get Involved
Interested? Swingers are looking for teams of four to compete in a series of heats throughout July – September 2018. The winning team from each round will progress to the semi-final, and then, if they score highly enough, to the Grand Final for the headline prize and all the associated glory.
