This panel-style event and brunch is dedicated to taking an idea into a fully-fledged, sucessful venture – with help from some of the UK’s leading female entrepreneurs. With special speakers Sadie Reid, Jessica Kruger, Jessica Vince, Claire Ptak and Jessica Titcumb (yes, we know, that’s a lot of Jessicas), you will learn:

What: Being your own boss ain’t easy, and sometimes you need a little inspiration from amazing female entrepreneurs that have done it. This brunch is all about the female entrepreneur, with Jessica Kruger, Founder of Ethos Food, one of London’s leading healthy restaurants, Sadie Reid, wellness warrior and founder of Hip & Healthy, Jessica Vince, founder of Dressr, Claire Ptak, the mastermind behind Violet Cakes and Jessica Vince, founder of Twisted Halo. We’ll be learning about their experiences of launching their own companies, how they manage their time and the struggles that face the female entrepreneur today. This, of course, will be followed by an all-out Italian feast at beautiful Sartoria in Mayfair, where you’ll dine like a queen, on some of London’s best Italian food. Sadie Reid, Founder of Hip and Healthy

Jessica Titcumb, Founder of Twisted Halo Drinks
After graduating from the University of St Andrews, Jess moved to London where she embarked on a successful career in Interior Design. Always an entrepreneur at heart, she launched her business last year, and Twisted Halo was officially born June this year. When she isn’t dashing all over the place having meetings she can often be found in the park running after hew two labradoodles, Milly & Tilly!
Claire Ptak, Founder of Violet Cakes
Californian native Claire Ptak is the creative force and chef-owner behind Violet, a bakery and cafe in Hackney, East London. Alongside baking, Claire works extensively as a food stylist and writer. Her fifth cookbook, ‘The Violet Bakery Cookbook’ was released in March 2015, and her weekly baking column for The Guardian is published in the paper every Saturday. Claire’s work has been featured in titles such as Vogue, London Evening Standard, Wall Street Journal, The New York Times and Food52.
Jessica Kruger, Founder of Ethos Foods
Jessica Kruger, 28, founded Ethos, a healthy eating restaurant in central London in September 2014. Jessica grew up in Sydney, Australia, moving to Paris at the age of 20 to complete her undergraduate degree. She completed her MBA in Paris and subsequently worked in corporate intelligence and advertising. She moved to London in 2013 to open Ethos. Her passion for meat-free food was kindled after watching a documentary about factory farming. Shocked, disgusted and horrified, she changed her diet on the spot to a plant-based one and found the frustrations of eating out so great that she decided to take matters in to her own hands and open a restaurant.
Jessica Vince, Founder of Dressr
Jessica Vince is ex-Digital Editor for Grazia Magazine where she rose through the ranks from intern to Digital Editor. She won Digital Editor of the Year at the BSME Awards, Rising Star at the Bauer Media Awards and Grazia was named Digital Brand of the Year at the PPA Awards in both 2013 and 2014. The Telegraph’s Stella Magazine has picked up on the buzz, enlisting Jessica to create a weekly Social Shopper page of the finest Fashion-instas.
