For an Italian Fathers Day Sunday Roast: Babbo, Mayfair

What: This Father’s Day, Babbo, will celebrating Father’s Day with true Italian flair by hosting a special ‘Festa Del Babbo’ Sunday Roast. The vibrant restaurant is located in the middle of Mayfair featuring contemporary renditions of classic Italian recipes alongside signature cocktails and an expansive 230-strong wine list. The ‘Festa Del Babbo’ menu begins with a selection of mouth-watering Italian canapés (including Gnocchi Fritti with Burrata & Ham and Foie Gras Macarons), followed by a homemade pasta dish, and then: either braised roast beef or baked pork belly with all the trimmings. All of this is topped off with a Selezione di Dolci (dessert platter) to be enjoyed by the whole table.

What: In the leafy suburbs, The Albion in Kingston have opened their brand new distillery for the summer and have launched some new additions to the menu. Joining the menu this week is their famous Oreo Donut dish – a seriously sweet and incredible dessert consisting of deep fried Oreo donuts with a salted caramel sauce.

What: Located within M Victoria, RAW restaurant has just launched a delicious and nutritious new menu – completely vegetarian and gluten-free. Highlights of the new menu include starters of Avocado escabeche, fennel, pink grapefruit and yuzu caviar, or a flavour packed Smoked aubergine with a miso glaze, sesame and dashi. Heartier main courses are predominantly vegan, taking their beginnings from wholegrains.

What: This restaurant is one of the Capital’s go-to for fine Filipino food, the eatery has successfully introduced traditional dishes such as kare-kare, sisig and chicken adobo, to a growing band of devotees. They’re also offering 6 course sharing plates for two for £35/person with a welcome drink and tea.
