About Time You Tried: SLOWmotion Brunch at Rosewood LondonBy Angelica Malin
Need a new way to brunch this weekend? Then try the SLOWmotion brunch at Rosewood London. Here’s what you need to know:
What: From the 27th September, esteemed Food Magazine and Event Company, TOAST will launch SLOWmotion, a series of intimate, supper club-style brunches and workshops, that celebrate slow living, hosted by some of their favourite people in the food industry.
Expect: Guests can expect sharing plates, cocktails and communal tables, plus chats with each host as they serve up their favourite brunch dishes. Taking place in a stylish private room at the Rosewood Hotel in London’s beautiful Bloomsbury, each menu will showcase Slow Food ingredients from the Sunday market in the courtyard outside, while the space will be decorated with stunning Slow Living crafts and flowers. Attendees are encouraged to come down early to browse the market and pick up a few treats to take home.
Eat: At this weekend’s Slow Food Brunch with Signe Johansen, expect such delights as the Scandi Bloody Mary with tomato juice from the market, 58 Gin, Halen Mon smoked water, dill, horseradish and cucumber and Crispy Cod Cheeks with Nordic Dill Salsa, plus, to take home, Skoleboller or “school buns” – Norwegian vanilla custard filled buns with coconut.
