New Opening: Honest Burgers’ All-Vegan Burger Restaurant, V HonestBy Alicia Grimshaw
For the plant-powered (and hungry)Londoners…Honest Burgers are kicking off the new year with the launch of a fresh concept, V Honest. Get yourself down to Covent Garden in January for the all-singing, all-dancing plant-based burger brand.
V Honest: The Lowdown
V Honest will offer Honest’s most extensive – and arguably, most delicious – vegan selection to date, with an innovative, completely new menu of plant-based burgers, sauces and sides set to satisfy vegans, carnivores, and everything in between.
V Honest: The Burgers
For the very first time, guests at V Honest can enjoy vegan takes on the brand’s classic HONEST, TRIBUTE and CHILLI burgers, so Honest customers who have given up eating meat but loved these signature builds can get their old favourites back in their lives.
These sit alongside creative new builds, including:
– BUFFALO: Fried chick’n, buffalo sauce, Applewood Vegan cheese, ranch mayo, lettuce and pickles
– TERIYAKI: Plant burger, Applewood Vegan cheese, pulled shiitake mushrooms, teriyaki sauce, grilled peppers, spring onions, umami mayo and lettuce
– PESTO: Fried chick’n, basil pesto, mustard mayo, tomato and rocket
Classic burgers can be amped-up with the addition of THIS Isn’t Bacon rashers, and can be made gluten-free by swapping in a gluten-free bun for a truly inclusive menu. Just like Honest Burgers, V Honest will continue to offer creative, limited-edition burger collaboration specials, showcasing emerging talent among plant-based suppliers, chefs and traders, with the first to follow in early-2022.
Although the burgers are new, each order comes with Honest’s signature homemade rosemary salted chips as standard, an essential part of any truly Honest line-up. There’s also three all-vegan, gluten-free sides, including crunchy and fresh seasonal coleslaw; fiery buffalo tenders with Frank’s RedHot sauce, vegan ranch mayo and shoestring fries; and pulled shiitake nuggets made in collaboration with premium plant-based brand Fable Food Co.
