Looking for something different to do this weekend? We’ve got just the ticket. We say: it’s about time you discovered Terrarium London, a new night designed to bring together creative types for something truly unique. We got the lowdown on the new event series hitting the capital:

Terrarium: The Lowdown

In true London style, most of Terrarium’s appeal is in its mystery. The venue isn’t revealed until the day, but what we do know is that it’s going to be very special indeed. Terrarium is a new space for musicians, artists, horticulturalists, chefs and dancers to come together. Co-Founder Charlie Gayner says:

We wanted to create a new space for musicians, artists, horticulturalists, chefs and dancers to come together. These spaces will be filled with plant life getting people out of the grey landscape of London, and into our very own leafy Terrarium. This Saturday we are taking over one of London’s very best hidden gems and have got lots in store with a BBQ during the day, the Terrarium Resident DJ’s going through the finest of their collection, a display of work by some London’s emerging artists and plenty of green visuals.

For their first event, Terrarium will be holding a day time party and transforming a hidden London venue into their very own Terrarium. Instagram at the ready, this is one party that your feed needs to see.

Terrarium: The Artists

Supporting artistic through and through, each Terrarium event will be accompanied by a limited edition art work which you can buy via their website, with all proceeds going to the artists. We love the idea of supporting the artistic community through events. You can see more about the featured artists here. First up, this Saturday, is the very talented Georgie Sladen, who has produced a limited edition giclee print of her work entitled Two Perceptions, which has been used as their event poster. You can read more about Georgie here. What’s more, they have Spotify playlists which all artists to have put together – you can listen here.
