Hello you lovely lot. We got an exclusive on Pret’s new Christmas menu, which launches today in the UK. We thought it would be rude not to share with you. Here’s what’s in store (literally) for the next few months in our favourite high-street foodie spot… On your marks… Get set… Eat:

Sandwiches and Baguettes

What: Pret’s Christmas Lunch Sandwich (£3.60)

The Lowdown: Pret’s iconic Christmas sandwich layers thick slices of Lincolnshire free-range turkey breast on malted bread with a dollop of slightly tart cranberry and port sauce. Served with Pret’s crumbly stuffing – made with minced pork, streaky bacon and apricots, and topped with crispy onions and fresh baby spinach.

What: Pret’s Veggie Christmas Lunch Sandwich (£3.25)

The Lowdown: This award-winning vegetarian sandwich combines roasted chunks of butternut squash, nutty Christmas pesto and spicy rocket. Served with a spoonful of yoghurt and mayo dressing, and a sprinkling of crispy onions on malted bread.

What: Ham Hock, Stuffing and Apple Baguette (£3.99)

The Lowdown: A stone baked baguette filled with shredded ham hock, mustard mayo, crispy onions, watercress and a generous dollop of apple sauce. Served with Pret’s crumbly stuffing – made with minced pork, streaky bacon and apricots.

What: Very Merry Christmas Lunch Baguette (£3.75)

The Lowdown: Pret’s first vegan Christmas Lunch has arrived! A stone baked baguette layered with grilled carrots, parsnip puree and crispy onions. Finished with Pret’s festive chutney, a handful of toasted pistachios and peppery watercress.

What: Brie and Cranberry Baguette (£3.45)

The Lowdown: Three slices of delicately flavoured French Brie on Pret’s stone baked baguette. Served with spiced cranberry and port sauce, toasted pistachios and a handful of wild rocket.

Hot Eats 

What: New! Ham Hock and Sprout Macaroni Cheese (£5.50)

The Lowdown: It wouldn’t be Christmas without sprouts. This macaroni cheese sees hand-pulled ham hock, and shredded sprouts mixed with Pret’s tubetti rigati pasta and mature Cheddar béchamel sauce. Topped with breadcrumbs before being freshly baked and served hot out of the oven.

What: New! French Brie and Cranberry Toastie (£4.25)

The Lowdown: A classic Christmas combination of French Brie with tangy cranberry and port sauce. Finished with sliced red onion and fresh spinach, before being toasted to perfection.

What: New! Ham Hock and Chutney Toastie (£4.25)

The Lowdown: Hand-pulled ham hock, mature Cheddar cheese and a handful of fresh spinach leaves sandwiched between two slices of seeded bread. Finished with a generous dollop of spiced festive chutney.

Sweet Treats

What: New! Chocolate Praline Cookie (£1.25)

The Lowdown: Freshly baked in shop, this delicious biscuit has a centre of melted chocolate and hazelnut, encased in a chewy cookie with crunchy hazelnut pieces. Dusted with icing sugar and cocoa.

What: New! Melvin, The Melting Gingerbread Snowman (£1.25)

The Lowdown: A fun stocking-filler or treat for the kids, this melted snowman gingerbread comes complete with a fluffy marshmallow head – almost too cute to eat.

What: New! Muffettone (£1.85)

The Lowdown: Pret’s special Christmas cake is a cross between an authentic Italian panettone and a muffin. The delicious ingredients of a panettone – cranberries, currants, orange zest and almonds – have been baked into a soft and fluffy muffin dough. Topped with a sprinkling of icing sugar.

What: Christmas Tiffin (£1.55)

The Lowdown: An indulgent mix of crunchy gingerbread biscuit and cranberries bound with chocolate and a hint of orange. Layered with white chocolate, dried cranberries and chopped pistachio.

What: Mince Pie (£1.30)

The Lowdown: Handmade in Yorkshire by specialist bakers, Pret’s mince pies are made in small batches to a traditional recipe. The mincemeat was made in July and has been gathering flavour ever since. Topped with a Pret star and a dusting of icing sugar, these pies are a classic festive treat.

Drinks

What: Mint Hot Chocolate (£2.75)

The Lowdown: A choccy treat just for Christmas, this is Pret’s organic hot chocolate with a shot of mint and an optional topping of whipped cream. Oo-er.

What: Clementine Juice (£2.15)

The Lowdown: Clementines take patience. Pick them too soon and you get a bitter juice. Pret pick them just as they’re ready, which means the juice is perfectly sweet and always worth the wait.
