3. For a New Branch: Balans Soho Society

What: 2017 marks the 30th Anniversary of the very first Balans having opened on Old Compton Street. There could be no better way to mark the occasion than by upping sticks and, for the very first time, introducing the Balans Soho Society ‘too much of a good thing is a very good thing indeed’ ethos and their award-winning all day menu south of the river. The restaurant is offering 50% off all food from Monday (27th February) through book-a-table.

Why: Balans is your foodie saviour; open from early morning till late night cocktails, there’s plenty of food options to keep you going. From the breakfast menu, feast on eggs in hell, a skillet filled with tomato sauce, Balans potatoes, two poached eggs, and finished with parmesan. The high society eggs Benedict has become a cult favourite, and a must order for any Balans virgin. The Balans burger topped with  cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomato, dill pickle and red onion, served with double-dipped chips is one hell of a hangover buster.
