Happy Monday, people. To get you ready for the week ahead, we’ve discovered 5 brand new menus and special dishes you need to eat in the capital this week. We’re never ones to shy away from a two tiered chicken burger. Dig in:

1. For a New Lunchtime Game Changer: MealPal 

What: Guys, something super cool has just launched in London, and you all need to know about it. MealPal is the money-saving lunchtime service favoured by New Yorkers, (the indisputable masters of take out), and it has just arrived in London’s Square Mile and Soho. Created by Mary Biggins and Katie Ghelli, MealPal promises to maximise options and minimise costs when it comes to the daily working lunch.

Why: Through the app or website, members buy a bundle of 12 or 20 lunches at a time, each priced at either £4.79 or £4.39. These can be redeemed daily at one of more than ​150 restaurants in the City and Soho​ such as Tapas Brindisa, Eat Saigon, Walter & Monty, Fat Bear and many more. Choose and reserve your lunch from the day’s options of specially-prepared dishes showcased via the app and website, then simply skip the queues and pick up your freshly-prepared meal at lunchtime – all pre-paid for through MealPal.

2. For a New Burger: Ma’ Plucker 

What: We all live for that Friday feeling, and Ma’ Plucker are here to make it that little bit sweeter. The chicken masters have just introduced a new knock-your-socks-off burger, all for the bargain price of a tenner. A tenner, folks.

Why: Enjoy the biggest burger they have ever created – a decadent affair of buttermilk dipped chicken, rotisserie chicken, bbq pulled chicken and a waffle all served in a fluffy house bun with crunchy lettuce for good measure. Basically, you’re getting the three-way experience all in one bun. Make sure you throw in a few of their sides; buttered corn, mash and fries are all a must.

3. For a New Afternoon Tea: Cinnamon Soho 

What: Spice up your weekend with Sparkling Sundays at Cinnamon Soho – Vivek Singh’s modern Indian restaurant in the heart of Carnaby Street .Sip on bottomless glasses of Prosecco or refreshing Mimosas for two hours for £20 every Sunday from 11am – 5pm, alongside an indulgent brunch or Cinnamon Soho’s renowned High Chai afternoon tea.

Why: Weekend brunch Cinnamon-style features traditional fluffy parathas filled with an array of  delicacies such as bollyflower cheese (cauliflower and Keene’s cheddar), and Keema (smoky spiced minced lamb). 4. For a New Menu: CUT at 45 Park Lane 

What: CUT at 45 Park Lane will offer everyone the chance to celebrate the 2017 Awards Season in true Hollywood style with an Awards Season Menu and a new award-worthy cocktail, LaLaLand89. CUT at 45 Park Lane’s founding chef, Wolfgang Puck, has created the menu for the star-studded Governors Ball during awards season for more than two decades. This year Puck has collaborated with executive chef David McIntyre to create a special Awards Season Menu.

Why: The new Awards Seasons Menu features spotlight specialties previously served to Hollywood’s elite at past awards galas including smoked salmon blinis, topped with crème fraiche, lemon and Oscietra Caviar, and Chinese chicken salad with ginger, crispy wontons and Chinese mustard vinaigrette. Heartier dishes include slow cooked chicken pot pie with black truffles and root vegetables, and grilled Szechuan steak, served with baby bok choy, shiitake mushrooms and toasted chilies. Order the crème fraiche soufflé pancake with sautéed strawberries for pudding. Just because.

5. For a New Flavour: Gelupo 

What: Did someone say chocolate? Yeah we did. Gelupo in Soho isn’t just for summer months, these chaps have also created special winter treats for the colder evenings. Stop by and fill your boots with some perfectly perky remedies for the brisk February nights.

Why: Their world-famous hot chocolate is a rich molten dream and comes in flavours such as Gianduja (Venezuelan Cru and Piedmont Hazelnut), and Chocoffogato (Black or Gianduja with Espresso Gelato). If you can’t leave Gelupo without sampling their award-winning frozen treats, this month’s frisky Fennel Gelato special will be sure to brighten even the rainiest of days.

6. For a Chinese Delivery: Zing Zing

What: Zing Zing delivers great quality Chinese food to North London, offering a menu free from MSG and any other nasties. It’s their mission to deliver high quality Chinese food made with the freshest ingredients and care. Ooo-er.

Why: This doesn’t taste like your average Chinese. And more importantly, this food doesn’t leave you feeling slightly ill. We all know that age old post-Chinese takeaway feeling –nausea and ‘meat’ sweats. But not with Zing Zing. The food tastes real, which for a Chinese takeaway is quite a feat. You’ll find all the stable dishes on the menu, except the crispy shredded beef will actually contain beef. Yum.

7. For a Burger Delivery: Homeburger 

What: Homeburger does what it says on the tin. It delivers burgers, to your home. Staggeringly good burgers. They pride themselves on using top quality ingredients and getting the burger to you in one piece.

Why: Homeburger does burgers properly. And they’ve also started to deliver ‘breakfast in bread’, which include a sausage patty, American cheese, smoked streaky bacon, Homeburger hash brown, grilled tomato, baked bean puree, and a sunny side up egg, all served in a toasted bun. They’ve also perfected innovative packaging which means the burger arrives with its structural integrity intact.
