Flavour Notes: This smoothie is the dream – it’s one for those with a sweet tooth, as the dates and banana make it slightly on the sweet side, but it’s totally delicious. If you like almond butter, get the Work it Out smoothie with berries, avocado and almond butter. They make all their nut butters themselves, and are totally delicious.

2. For Coffee Lovers: White Zen at Wild Food Cafe

What: Almond milk, cold brew coffee, dates, vanilla, coconut oil, cardamom

Where: 1st Floor, 14 Neal’s Yard, Covent Graden, London WC2H 9DP

Price: £6.20

Flavour Notes: The smoothie that started a revolution – this tastes like absolute heaven. Think an iced coffee, but so much better – it’s got a slightly Indian kick with the cardamom, but is also creamy and delicious, and totally dairy-free. If you like green juice, their green smoothie with celery and apple is delightful, too.

3. For a Tropical Flex: Bird of Paradise at Retreat Cafe

What: Pear, banana, apple, ginger and coconut milk

Where: 2nd Floor, Kingly Court. Soho, W1B 5PW

Price: £4.60

Flavour Notes: This is literally my favourite smoothie in London. It tastes a bit like a Pina Colada (I hate pineapple) but so much better, the pear is really strong in it, and the ginger gives it a bit of a fiery kick. Perfect for breakfast (or any time of the day, really) and it will really wake you up in the morning. If you like matcha, the Coco Green Matcha smoothie with spinach, mango, banana and coconut water is absolutely divine.

4. For a Berry Beauty: Bliss Blend at Crussh

green-juice1

What: Pineapple, mango, peach, banana, coconut milk, orange juice, 98% fat free probiotic yoghurt with bliss blend booster

Where: Crussh throughout London

Price: £4.75 for a large

Flavour Notes: As afore mentioned hatred of pineapple, if you swap the pineapple for berries in this smoothie, it’s absolutely the one. Its nice and cold as they use frozen fruit, and a great boost with the additional vitamins. Don’t fear the high street, Crussh is fantastic.

5. For Some Green Loving: Graceful Greens at The Juicery

Price: £7.50

Where: Locations across London- Inside Selfridges, Marylebone and South Kensington

Flavour Notes: All about ‘expert goodness’, the guys behind The Juicery are all about great juices and the graceful green smoothie is no exception. A mix of flavoursome green veggies and fruit, the drink packs a punch with subtle hints of the kale perfectly matched with the citrus notes from the lemon. An ideal smoothie post workout.
